Megan from Invisible World nominated me for this award! I’m really honored! I’m still new to these blogging awards, so I’m always amazed when another one pops up. For this one, here are the rules:
- Thank the person who gave you this award.
- Include a link to their blog.
- Next, nominate 5 blogs that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly for the Versatile Blogger Award.
- Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.
I know there isn’t any specific criteria for how to choose, but I’m going to think about the word versatile and try to choose accordingly. Here are my nominees:
- CitizenErased14
- SummerFalls
- OJenn
- SunnyShay
- RoryGilmore34
Here are seven things about me:
- I am a gum-aholic.
- I am a tech snob and brand loyalist, but I don’t believe the most expensive products are always the best.
- I love real Christmas trees just because they smell amazing.
- When I eat rice, I try to stuff as much as my mouth can hold lol. I think I like the way it feels.
- I’m allergic to shellfish and carry an Epi Pen everywhere I go because I love Chinese food way too much and have had cross contamination episodes before.
- Growing up, my favorite color was red. In my early adult years, I felt myself drifting toward orange, and I actually felt guilty lol.
- Speaking of feeling guilty…I killed a ladybug once for my amusement. I felt reeeeeeally guilty.
Jes! Congratulations!! You work so hard, I’m so happy to see you win this award! Thank you for the nomination! Wow! 🙂
Also, poor ladybug! 😉
Thank you! HA, yes…I still feel guilty sometimes lol.
Yay Jes! And yes, real Christmas trees smell amazing (i had taste amazing written first there for some strange reason) 😀
LOL, that’s hilarious! Maybe you’re hungry?
I love the way a real Christmas tree smells, but every year we’ve ever had one, it would fall over the morning after we’d put it up. 😀 I think we needed a different stand or something.
I’ve had to kill ladybugs before because they love to invade our house. Seriously, there will be tons of them milling around the windows. We can’t just let them keep populating and there are too many of them to catch and take outside, so we have to kill them. ;( (that sounds so brutal). But did you know they can bite? Once I knew that, I didn’t feel so bad about it. 🙂
Yeah, we got them too and this one was left over agree the attack was over lol. Didn’t know they bite!
I’m glad I’m not the only one struggling against ladybugs. lol. Yeah, the ones that come from Asia can bite, so luckily not all of them do, but the ones in my house could.
I think the lady bug thing is a fall occurrence because it seems to happen the same time every year (Novemberish).
I noticed that too. I guess they’re trying to hid from the cold.
Possibly!
Congratulations!!! It should not have been a surprise!
Thank you
