Who is safe, and who will go home? Voting will be tough this week as you will only be able to select one contestant from here on out. The contestant with the least amount of votes will go home. In the event of a tie, the contestant with the smallest margin for gains and losses will go home. To help you make your decision, here’s a snapshot of our lovely contestants’ progress this week!
Acacia Bough
Muscle mass: +11.11%
Body fat: -42.86%
This week: It’s a strange way to look at it, but Acacia has a slight advantage over some contestants by still having a bit of body fat to lose. In most cases, by week 3, the contestants begin slowing down on the body fat front, but Acacia is winning slow and steady. In addition to being immune in this week’s vote, she has the largest margin of gains and losses. Go girl!
Acacia’s confidence in herself and ability to maintain focus is always notable and obviously the reason for her great success thus far.
Braylon Skinner
Muscle mass: -18.18%
Body fat: -20%
This week: Braylon took a hit in the muscle mass department but still managed to lose a good amount of body fat at this stage of the game. With the body fat she lost, her muscle definition did not change which is good.
Braylon’s interpersonal growth was noted this week in her ability to overcome the “stranger danger” situation at the public gym. Week after week we see her learning new things about herself and blossoming before our very eyes.
Grant Parker
Muscle mass: 0%
Body fat: -22.5%
This week: Grant is holding it steady this week in the muscle mass department neither gaining nor losing an inch. Impressive at this stage of the game! Grant is the first contestant to bottom out on the body fat scale! Congrats!
Grant has accomplished so much, and he knows it. But somehow his confidence hasn’t registered yet. Hopefully if he gets enough votes to stick around next week, it will give him the confidence he needs to take ownership of everything he has done.
Nico Battle
Muscle mass: +2.86%
Body fat: -20%
This week: Nico barely managed to gain some muscle mass this week which A-ok! He dropped a good bit of weight putting him a hair away from the bottom of the body fat scale next to Grant!
Nico takes a licking and keeps on ticking. When he falls (literally), he gets back up again and keeps going. His determination is seen in his ability to keep going and also the work he does after the cameras go off at night. I have seen him many nights in the gym when the rest of the contestants are getting ready to retire for the evening. The work he puts in not only shows in his physical results, but from the inside out too.
