“What’s for dinner, mommy?”
“I’m going to try a rack of lamb!”
Hearing about lamb made Aria remember something. “Mommy?”
“Yes, my darling?”
“Are there any monkeys here?”
Leliana thought it was a strange question but answered anyway. “I don’t believe so. Monkeys typically live tropical areas.”
“Oh.”
Aria went back to whatever she was doing for a few minutes and then revisited her question. “What about coyotes?”
“Heavens! I should hope not!”
Again, Aria left it alone and came back to it again. “Owls?”
“Aria, I don’t believe there hardly any animals in this area minus birds, bees, butterflies, and other insects. Why do you ask?”
“Sometimes I think I hear animal noises at night. If I really listen, sometimes it sounds like they’re in the house…in your room! It’s scary.”
Hahahahahaha! Those two are fresh!
So fresh LOL.
