“I’m scared, mom”
“Why?”
“What if I don’t like living by myself?”
She smiled. “Get a roommate.”
“What if I want to come home?”
She giggled. “Then come home! We’re not gonna sell your bed, honey.”
It was amazing what changed about him and what stayed the same. He was just barely into his young adult days and was a bit more ambitious than before. But, he was the same sweet, kind of shy kid too. She looked forward to watching how his personality changed as he got older.

Ah to be a millennial. I guess he might actually be part of the next gen technically, but that be-grown-and-live-at-home-while-you-figure-out-life-no-prob-no-rush thing seems to be specific to my generation.
