Melody was getting used to her new body’s needs with all of the frequent trips to the bathroom, fatigue, and cravings. She went to bed very early one night, and was awake early the next morning. She was hungry and went to the kitchen for some leftover salad. But something was drawing her upstairs. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she had to find out. She mounted the stairs with her salad in hand and saw her father in the hallway. At first she was very excited to see him, but then she felt nervous. Would he be disappointed in her? There was only one way to find out.
She slowly walked closer to him and braced herself for whatever he may say.
“Hi, Daddy.”
“Hello, my darling.”
“I have something to tell you…if you don’t already know.”
“What’s that?”
“I’m going to have a baby.”
“OH WOW! Congratulations, kid! Paxton, right? I bet he’s super excited!”
“He’s not. He left.”
“He did WHAT?!”
“He left me…the baby…whatever. We’re not together anymore.”
“Oh no no no no NO!! NOBODY leaves MY child!!”
“The Giancarlo is displeased, and he will NOT get away with this!! I’m gonna float over to his house…and I’m gonna…gonna possess all his STUFF…until it breaks! AND THEN…uhhh…and then…I’m gonna make some kids release 1000 gerbils in his house! And then, I’m going to possess HIM and make his bladder fail and make him laugh hysterically until he–”
“Daddy, no! I still love him.”
“Ok. I was just kidding anyway. You should have seen the look on your face!”
“That wasn’t funny, Daddy.”
“Come here, my darling. You’re going to be all right. I know you are.”
This is amazing! I’ve never read anything like it before. Using the Sims was so creative.
Thank you! I love this game, and I love to write, so it works quite well for me.
I like the Sims too! Although, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to play.
Oh cool! I’ve been playing since the very beginning, but I never used it for storytelling purposes until the newest version came out this year. It’s been a very rewarding experience!
I’ve never thought of using Sims for creative writing before…makes me wish I’d come up with that idea. 🙂
Ha! Yeah. I’ve known that people did it and even read one or two stories in the past, but I was never interested. It sounded like too much work LOL. Well…it is a lot of work, but it’s a labor of love 🙂 The story I’m writing is called a legacy story. Essentially, I started out with one character that I created. He was poor and gradually built a house on a plot of land. He met his wife and started a family, and I’m playing his legacy through the 10th generation. I’m on the 6th right now. A lot of people do those kinds of stories, but a lot of people don’t. There is this one story I read called Uncertainty Principle. It’s like a movie! It’s got mystery and science and romance and all kinds of goodies that I would never in a million years think up lol.
Oh, Creator! GNC is too funny. I was laughing out loud at all of his expressions! It’s too much. In the best way ever.
GNC is a phenomenal actor. I really do enjoying photographing him myself.
