► Name? ➔ I’m Skyla, but most people just call me Sky. My whole name is Skyla René Oliver-Pruett.
► Are you single? ➔ I’m married…to a crazy man. I love him dearly.
► Are you happy? ➔ Oh yes.
► Are you angry? ➔ Not at the moment. I try to keep my emotions in check.
► Are your parents still married? ➔ My parents were married until my mother died. My dad never remarried. I suppose they are together again now.

► Eye Color? ➔  Brown
► Mood? ➔  I’m a little emotional right now. We recently said goodbye to my husband’s family’s estate. I’m mainly trying to make sure he doesn’t get too down on himself again.
► Gender? ➔ Female.
► Summer or winter? ➔ Oh, summer, definitely. I spent most of my life in the desert. I can’t get used to the cold.
► Morning or afternoon? ➔ I love quiet mornings before everyone gets up.

EIGHT THINGS ABOUT YOUR LOVE LIFE

► Are you in love? ➔ Of course.
► Do you believe in love at first sight? ➔ Yes. I think Jonathan and I fell in love the first time we saw each other.
► Who ended your last relationship? ➔ I had never been in a relationship before. Jonathan and I met when we were young.
► Have you ever broken someone’s heart? ➔ I hope not.
► Are you afraid of commitments? ➔ No.
► Have you hugged someone within the last week? ➔ Of course I have. I can’t get enough snuggles from my cute little son.
► Have you ever had a secret admirer? ➔ I can’t say that I have. If it was a secret, would I even know?
► Have you ever broken your own heart? ➔ Oh yes. There was a time when I thought I wouldn’t have Jonathan. We became fast friends, and I was afraid of letting him know me. Like, really know me. I mean, he was the legacy boy, and I grew up in a trailer with no money and three outfits. I didn’t really think he would throw me away like that, but the possibility tore me in two.

► Cats or Dogs? ➔ I think pets are cute to look at, but I don’t think I would have one. I already obsess too much about cleaning, my family says. All the hair and messes would make me crazy.
► A few best friends or many regular friends? ➔ A few best friends are easier to manage. Besides, I’m not the most social person.
► Wild night out or romantic night in? ➔ Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a wild night out. My husband is the biggest romantic I know.
► Day or night? ➔ Day is for work. I enjoy the night when my family is at home and it’s time to rest.

► Been caught sneaking out? ➔ I was a good girl. 🙂
► Fallen down/up the stairs? ➔ Who hasn’t?
► Wanted something/someone so badly it hurt? ➔ I wanted a baby so bad, I stressed myself out to the point where I couldn’t even get pregnant. Jonathan and I were still young and had plenty of time, but I wanted to give him a son as soon as possible so we could get the legacy business out of the way. We were remodeling the estate at the time and practically rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up. My dad had come to live with us and was so sick all the time. The doctors said nothing was technically wrong with him, but he would remain sick because his immune system was so weak. I was stressed, depressed, and hadn’t gotten pregnant yet, and that made me even more stressed and depressed. It hurt so bad. I know Jonathan told me it wasn’t my fault that everything was taken from us, but sometimes I can’t help but think if I were a stronger person… If I hadn’t been in such a state, Jonathan wouldn’t have had to drop everything to care for me. We could still be in our home. The legacy would still be intact. We wouldn’t have to watch the Pruett family home for the past nine generation get destroyed.
► Wanted to disappear? ➔ Oh yes, all the time during that dark period.

► Smile or eyes? ➔ I like eyes, but I appreciate a genuine smile more.
► Shorter or Taller? ➔ When you love someone, it shouldn’t matter.
► Intelligence or Attraction? ➔ I feel like I should say intelligence because we must be able to converse, but chemistry is so magical and opens the door.
► Hook-up or Relationship? ➔ Only relationship.

FAMILY

► Do you and your family get along? ➔ I get along with my husband’s family just fine. They did an excellent job of making me feel like one of them. I haven’t spoken to my own family since I left them, though. I don’t even know who is left.
► Would you say you have a “messed up life”? ➔ I would say my life is more than perfect.
► Have you ever run away from home? ➔  I wanted to. My dad sent me to live with some family in Appaloosa Plains when my mom died. I hated it. If it weren’t so far away, I would have run all the way back to Oasis Springs.
► Have you ever gotten kicked out? ➔ No.

FRIENDS

► Do you secretly hate one of your friends? ➔ I don’t really have friends. My family and employees are my friends.
► Do you consider all of your friends good friends? ➔ Even when they get on my nerves. 🙂
► Who is your best friend? ➔ My husband, Jonathan.
► Who knows everything about you? ➔ Jonathan knows everything there is to know except for the things I keep to myself.
