Today is national tell a story day! If there’s ANYTHING I can do it’s telling stories. When I get my new laptop next week I’m gonna have to start doing video blog (vlogs) so those who don’t know me personally can experience what it’s like to hear a story from me…you won’t be disappointed LOL. Anyway, in honor of tell a story day, I’d like to tell a short story today of how silly your girl can be sometimes.
I had the best private laugh at lunch today as I recanted this story in my head. Last year, we got new chairs in the office: really nice, black, leather,...

To all the folks that call us, PLEASE do us a favor and comply!!
Everything we do and everything we say is a choice. Not only do we choose where to live, what school to go to, what car to drive, and other larger decisions, but also we choose to make smaller decisions throught the day. We choose how we respond to certain people, how we speak, what we say, how we think, who we’re influenced by, and whom we influence. Sadly most Americans think that society decides those things, but the fact of the matter is we all must choose how we function in society. I CAN’T STAND, ABHOR, DESPISE, LOATHE, DETEST, [any other adjective you think of !] this mentality that people have that makes them feel like they have no choices in life, whatever path they’re on was handed to them, and there’s absolutely NOTHING they can do to change.
You know what I like in a movie? Well, besides high octane action (with sounds that make me wish I had decent speakers!), mystery, and suspense, I appreciate a good, heart-wrenching, tear jerking drama. Not just any drama will do. It has to be EXTREMELY good! I think that’s why I love the old fashioned dramas from back in the 40s, 50s, and early to mid 60s. Talkin’ ’bout some good acting? My goodness! But, the dramas back then were more than just good acting. The entire production made the film. So, not only was the acting awesome, but also the lighting, music, camera shots, and the script. All of those things put together produce an excellent film.
When life gets you down, and you feel discouraged, and everything around you seems dark and dreary, just remember that the sky is always blue. Better days are just around the corner!
